Dr. Binder is Professor in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology at Northwestern University Medical School. He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of tau protein biology and the role of tau in neurodegenerative tauopathies, such as Alzheimer's disease (AD) and human Frontal Lobe Dementias.

Innovative NeuroTechnologies, Inc. adds Gary S. Lynch, Ph.D. as a member of its growing Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).
Dr. Lynch has been a Professor in the Department of Psychobiology at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) since 1969, including the UCI Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory. He is also currently ranked as Professor "above scale" in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UCI. Dr. Lynch is a member of the Neuroscience Society and the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), and advisory board member for the Cognitive Neurosciences Institute and JPL/NASA. Dr. Lynch has authored and co-authored over 500 articles and a number of books in the areas of neurobiology, cognition, and memory. In 2002, he was recognized as “A Most Cited Researcher” by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI Thomson). Dr. Lynch holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Princeton University. He is a co-founder of Synaptics, Inc., Tensor Biosciences, and Thuris Corporation, all privately-held companies.

Dr. Simmon has been a part of the biotechnology industry since 1979 assisting in the development of numerous products, particularly in the central nervous system (CNS) area, and rapid growth of companies. During his long and distinguished career, Dr. Simmon has held the position of CEO and various other top level management positions (e.g., COO, CFO, etc.) for a number of both public and private companies, including Prototech, Alpha 1 Biomedicals, Cortex Pharmaceuticals, Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, and more recently Xytis Pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Simmon received his B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Amherst College, M.S. in Plant Physiology from University of Toledo, and Ph.D. in Molecular and Microbiology from Brown University. He has also participated in MBA Executive Management Programs at Stanford University and W.R. Grace & Co.
